Jake Jacobs

The Colleton County School District is pleased to recognize Jake Jacobs as the District Coordinator of Gifted and Talented Education.

An experienced educator with a background in gifted education, curriculum development, and differentiated instruction, Mr. Jacobs is committed to ensuring that gifted learners are challenged, engaged, and supported in reaching their full potential.

Prior to this role, Mr. Jacobs served as a Certified Gifted and Talented Social Studies Teacher at Colleton County Middle School, where he developed rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and fostered critical thinking and academic growth among students. He also brings leadership experience through coaching middle school athletics and mentoring students both in and out of the classroom.

Mr. Jacobs holds a Master of Education in Gifted Education from Converse University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wofford University.
