Week 4 Spotlight of the S.M.E.P.

What an incredible way to wrap up an amazing summer! Our students finished strong, celebrated their accomplishments, and created memories that will last a lifetime. We are so proud of all they achieved through their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the program.

Thank you to our outstanding staff, families, and community partners for making this summer a success. We wish all of our students a safe, fun, and restful remainder of the summer.

Community Event:
USC Salkehatchie is offering a free clean energy summer camp for ages 10-14. Use the information on the flyer below to sign up. Limited spots available.

Mark your calendars to join us for the Back to School Bash at Colleton County High School on August 1, 2026. Students must be present to receive supplies. We hope to see you there!!

Bus transportation lists are now available on the CCSD website for the summer school routes. These lists apply to 4K–3rd-grade Summer Reading Camp, Gap, and Migrant students who registered by the deadline and received attendance confirmation from their school. Community Event:
The Walterboro Tennis Association will be hosting Cardio Tennis on May 28th at 5:30pm at the Forest Hills Center in celebration of National Tennis Month 2026. This clinic is offered free of charge thanks to USTA-SC #playtennissc. Registration is required and space is limited.

Community Event:
The Walterboro Tennis Association invites you to its official re-launch celebration on May 16, 2026. This event is free and open to the public. There will be fun for the whole family and equipment is provided. Instruction will be provided by Diane Barker. They will have arts and crafts, refreshments, giveaways, games, summer camp sign-ups and adult & youth league information will be provided. Advanced registration is required.

We are excited to host our upcoming My Hero & Me event!
This special occasion is designed to celebrate the important heroes in our students’ lives. A flyer was sent home previously to RSVP for the event by April 24, 2026.
